Summer is here!
The past time for the local elderly in the morning is to bath themselves under the morning sun or pick on broad beans.
These broad beans are in at the moment!
Every single day I would see people buying a bag full of them. Now that I have seen it I would wanna try it - cooked of course..... my local friend who is not from Shanghai has never tried it before so I guess it would be a Shanghainese delicacy?

Broad Beans are eaten often in the west. They also feed them to Horses.
They do a great mashed broad bean and Yunnan ham dish at Southern Barbarian.
