Hello everyone I am back.
But the only thing is my camera was stolen from HCM airport which means no pictures!!!!
No worries my partner in crime who came with me will be sending pictures over to me soon.
Will post it when I get it.
Now which camera should I get? Any suggestions??

aiyaaa you need to be more careful. did u have lots of beef pho? damn i'm jealous i loved HCMC (you missed a "C").
For a point and shoot, if you want lots of manual control then the new Canon G10 should be great. It'll be around 3500 rmb when it is released in a few weeks. If you want something smaller and more automatic, the Canon 860is IXUS is well worth a look at about 2600 rmb.
Obviously other brands make superb cameras too, but Canon is the one I am familiar with.

yes i am thinking of canon but judging from how i manage to loose things so easily i wanna get something easy to use and affordable...any good pick?
Well it's hard to find decent pho in Shanghai so it's good you stocked up.

woai - is 8 mega pixel enough? how about 10 mega pixel any difference with it...helllppp
Ai mei - 8 megapixels is plenty. These companies use megapixel counts to try and out do each other but anyone who knows anything about photography knows there's negligible difference between 8 and 10 megapixels and even 8 MP is overkill unless you frequently print your pictures to poster size and display them in a gallery!
