LOOK TWICE - SHANGHAI%

I was sent an invitation by my friend, G who hosted this amazing solo exhibition by Mr. Thomas Weuthen at River South Art Centre.

Mr. Thomas Weuthen, will have his first solo photo exhibition this months. I would like to ask you to come and bring friends with you and have a very special night on Friday, 21 Nov 2008 at our opening event with real Shanghainese street food, wine, music and very special decoration!
Thomas's Shanghai night compositions are combining multiple aspects of the old, the new, the demolished and fast moving Shanghai into - hopefully - exciting photos and he would like to show you that it is worthwhile to LOOK TWICE before you judge about things in life.
I was excited to see his work on display as a few months ago I was privileged to have a sneak peek of it. I was impressed by the whole event and how the organisers really made it feel 100% Shanghai. They had street vendors selling real Shanghainese food that actually taste pretty good and was surprisingly clean.
The whole layout of the space looks like this - kinda feel like you are walking into a lane house with all the clothes and under garments hanging outside.

The pictures were all taken in Shanghai and it was very well shot with the right amount of light

After the exhibition as the night was still young we headed straight to Kee Club for a few drinks.
