We had an Aussie visitor who came to town recently and with so many choices of Shanghainese food to choose from we decided upon Fu 1039 for dinner. The restaurant is situated in a quite lane at Jiang Su Road and is located in an old bungalow.

Lotus root with sticky rice
Cold Drunken Chicken
Fish Dish
which is surprisingly very good though it looked like it got burned in and out
Main dish
We had steam fish, vege and gu la rou.
No pics as I was busy eating and talking.
After all those food we just had to take a pic to show how good the food is.

Nice ambiance, good service, yummy food and not forgetting affordable.
