H.E.A.R.T

What a sweetie she is, she took me to fashion bazaar. This bazaar was a little different as 15% of the proceeds goes back to charity which means I would not feel so bad purchasing items. Organised by Calamine Solutions who specialises in organising flea markets during the second week of every month.

One of their projects is the H.E.A.R.T. market.

The H.E.A.R.T. (Handicrafters, Entrepreneurs, Artists, and Retail Talents) market is a socially-conscious bazaar held on the 2nd weekend of every month at Sculpture Square, Middle Road. Its missions are two-fold: (1) to be an effective avenue for handicrafters, artists, and young retail talents to showcase their designs and products and (2) to serve as an effective publicity and fundraising platform for charities and welfare societies. Solitude Bliss

My solitude bliss was at the land of beansprouts or kiasuness - Singapore. Stayed at the Regent Hotel which was really nice. The toilet was very spacious which gives it a few plus points.

My room

What I did? Eat, sleep, swim, bum around, visiting.
Touchdown at midnight and head straight to Newton Square for supper.

Stingray - nice!

Sambal kangkung

I missed! Fried Maggi Mee Goreng

I visited tiny - so cute huh...all she did was that

Lied around and did nothing

On the last night, I had a glass of wine at the jazz bar in the hotel

As you can see I ain't complaining......hhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Tekka - Singapore’s Little India

Tekka the little India of Singapore will see you completely enthralled by the sights sounds and smell of India. As I walked around Tekka, I was greeted by the smell of curry, spices, Jasmine and coconut oil...and the sounds of pumping Indian music that makes you want to move your feet and shake your head.

The streets of Tekka are no different from the streets in Mumbai especially on a Saturday night. Its full of vibrant energy, with people are every where, even the buildings resemble India. Its like being in a perpetual moving sardine can.

Welcome to Tekka!

Wheel Of Fortune Tekka style!!!

If you ever visit Tekka, you have to stop by the largest and most popular shopping mall known as MUSTAFA!!!! They have absolutely everything and anything and heaps of each product. From household amenities to electronics, mobile phones, food, hair products, gold jewellery, money changer..you name it and they have it. If you can’t find it in MUSTAFA, then it doesn’t exist!!

The food is authentic and super yummy! Dosai, Prata, Nan, Murtabak galore with different styles ... plain egg, paper, tissue, chicken, cheese, garlic!
