BKK airport

I was told there were many flaws in BKK airport but it is still one of the prettiest airport I have stepped into.

Terminal 2 - Domestic Departure

Ok so there was me whining about Pudong Airport Terminal 2 - (International departure) on how lack of restaurants and shops to browse around etc.

Well was I godsmacked by the amount of restaurants and shops at Terminal 2 - (domestic departure). There were more stores to look at....

not that is any way interesting .....

but there were more shops, restaurants and the place is huge.... much bigger than the international flight area.


I am trying to figure out why is that?
Is it because there are more domestic flights than international flights?
